My First Attempt At Product Photography...
I created this image with my Sony a6300 mirrorless camera, 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens, a small room humidifier, external flash, flash head grid attachment, and orange colored gels.
A variety of photos were taken of the bottle, and the bottle's label. The images were shot at f/8, 0.5 sec., with the ISO set at 100. The external flash was positioned differently during each shot in order to highlight or illuminate specific areas of the bottle.
Afterwards, the humidifier was used to create a mist which was backlit with an external flash. A grid attachment and orange-colored gels were used to produce the fiery smokey background effect. This group of photos were taken at f/16, 1/160 sec., ISO 200.
Nearly seventy photos were shot, then sorted, rated, and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. Thirteen photos were selected to create the final image.
